- I am the special needs adoption coordinator for One World Adoption Services. In 2005, my husband and I adopted our first daughter, who has Down Syndrome. We also adopted our daughter Olivia from Guatemala in 2006. In June 2006, our son Joshua was born. Since adopting our beautiful daughters, I have had a passion for adoption and helping to find homes for children, especially children with special needs.
