Surviving the winter

Since the last post, we've remained relatively healthy despite cold weather, dry heat in the house, and normal sicknesses that travel around this time of year. Josh had a sinus infection (taking after his daddy). Christie has battled strep this week, but is feeling much better now. It's a little cold to take the babies out as much as we want, so we're couped up in the house quite a bit. We've made a pact that as soon as spring weather comes, we're taking everyone out for neighborhood walks.

We're very proud of Carly. Here she has just finished drinking 4 ounces of a smoothie in her honey bear straw cup. That's huge for her! She's making a lot of progress towards getting rid of her feeding tube! Go Carly!

Josh is SO close to crawling! He gets very frustrated that he can't go forward (he goes backwards pretty quickly). He's only days away now!

Olivia is a toddler with a capital "T". She loves to show out in front of anyone that is in the room. She likes to spin around in circles and throw herself on the couch. She's very sweet. She also loves "Nee" (Barney).
Carly is making a sad face. She's in the play-yard because she likes to pick on her brother. It's hard to keep up your "tough parent" act when you get a face like that.
Josh likes to play with a sippy cup, although as you can tell he hasn't really spotted the business end of this one.

Right now, Olivia has a fascination with a newfound skill of climbing, and using anything and everything to help her get places she shouldn't go. Here she's trying out a new tupperware container that she'll drag over to the chest and use to help her climb up on it (where she's put her bear).

Carly does pick on Josh, but we're trying to teach her to give hugs and not pull hair or steal pacifiers. Sometimes she's sweet to him though.

Another one of those faces that's hard to say "no" to. She's starting to say please and thank you on a regular basis. She still likes to test boundaries, but we can't help but laugh with her cute personality.

You guys are so blessed with such amazing children! Even though they each drive you crazy at times, I'm sure...they really are all amazing in their own special little way. Thanks for the update!
